| Answers: Is it worth owning a car? Ok. So I live in rural Wisconsin, where this no public transportation and nothing is in walking distance. Now Im a late bloomer when it comes to getting a car. I am 17 and I'll be able to afford my own car by December. However, Im planning on going off to college next fall and Im not planning on taking a car with me. So what Im wondering is would it be worth it for me to buy a car this December if Im leaving for college 8 months later? I should mention I have a part time job which I already have a reliable ride to. Also, in the warm months, I can ride my road bike anywhere I need to be. I enjoy cycling, so its not like its a big deal for me to ride everywhere. But Im still wondering if it would be worth owning a car for 8 months before college? Opinions please. |
