Hotel Palace Ukraine I stayed in Nikolaev on Saturday night. The Hotel Palace Ukraine bills itself as 4 star accommodation and it is nice, because at 50EURO for one this represented rather good value.The hotel has bright glass windows and from the outside it looked to me like the cristal place. The hotel is probably fairly new or at the very least has recently had a refurb. When walking through the corridor of the accommodation floors it resembles being in a Palace Ukraine in Kiev. Already the rooms are showing signs that they did with a tender care. My room was merely cleaned. TV was Ukr / Russian and several channels in English (news etc. ) Breakfast was just splendid. Unfortunately, here was no serve yourself buffet. Instead I was presented with a menu where there was a choice of 4 set menus. The girl who worked on reception was very helpful, very helpful indeed. She also spoke decent English if like me your Ukr / Russian is limited. The location is a 5 min walk away from Sovietska, the main drag in Nikolaev. Hotel Palace Ukraine is my favorite hotel in Nikolaev. |
