| peru vacations I'm going to travel to peru on january some people it's telling me it's not the right time but my vacations are in january, well I want some information I already have my peru tours but I want a little of adventure by my own not with a tour, so can you give me some recommendations and ideas of what to do?thanks. |

Hey there! Are you still in Peru at this time? If so, I'd recommend looking at different Peruvian tour and trekking sites and using their itineraries as inspiration for independent traveling planning. TripAdvisor.com has great recommendations for accommodations and restaurants. I also like to search for keywords on Twitter, so you can get real-time feedback. Search for things like "in Peru now" or "best Peruvian food" or phrases like that. Then you can figure out who is in Peru at the same time as you are and get real-time recommendations in their lifestreams about places to go. It seems like both Machu Picchu and Kuepal are great archaeological ruins to see, and the beach areas are replete with opportunities for adventure.
