| Yahoo! Answers: Restoring a historical home, grants available? Which grants are available for restoring an historical home? Are they available to private homeowners? I have seen something possibly for bed and breakfasts? Is there a specific grant for Oregon state? Or the Willamette Valley? Any info greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance. |
| Actually a lot of people are aspiring to buy a historical home. It is available for private homeowners. But I think if you plan to restore a hostorical home, you need to consult it to the the Housing & Redevelopment Authority, first, to check the availability of the old house. As a matter of fact there are some agencies that would give grants to some buyers if they meet the basic requirements. These grants could be local grant, resident curators, or rural housing. |
