| Questions: Virginia Beach Vacation question? I have searched countless websites and still have not found an answer to my question. I am planning a early June ( the first week) vacation to Virginia Beach. I am learning that Sandbridge would be a good choice however we want access to the boardwalk. What would be a good hotel with the best of both worlds? Quiet but not too quiet. We like all that the tourist area has to offer but would prefer a bit quieter of a beach spot. Maybe if we are going in early June this won't be a problem but maybe it will be. I have read that there is a Military event going on with a concert that we would like to avoid. Does anyone have any suggestions? Does anyone know much about the trash pile hill? Are there carnival like rides there? I have searched sites with this info but it never gave off too many details. This is out first family vacation. My husband is 38 years old and has never seen the ocean. Our son is 7 and has never seen the ocean and we are bringing my step daughter who is 16. We are looking for fun family activities. I have already searched many things but reading about them does not explain what they are like from a persons perspective. WE just want to have a good time and not spend a fortune. We are traveling from Ohio. WE have chosen Virginia Beach because it is the closest ocean to us. ANY input would be great....What to see what to avoid and what is a good location? THANK YOU! |
