Yahoo! Answers: Do I need to pay the Transient Occupancy Tax in Nevada?

For a lot of areas around Lake Tahoe, the cities have imposed a 10% Transient Occupancy Tax for vacation rentals of less than 30 days. I see a lot of info for the city of South Lake Tahoe but none for the city of Stateline, Nevada. They are on different sides of the state line so I'm not sure if this applies to the Nevada side also. And if I do need to pay the TOT, do I also need to apply for a vacation rental permit?
