Thank author of this post/commentAnnapurna circuit trek is considered to be the traditional and the most famous trek in Nepal as well as one of the most celebrated trek in the world. If you are looking for diversity in both landscape and people, Annapurna Circuit trek is for you.The highlight of this trip is to reach the sacred site of Muktinath temple through the trek over the 5416m Thorong La pass. The Annapurna circuit Trekking is one of the classic treks in the world where it is possible to make the trekking itinerary short or long as trekkers demand because who those who a have short time frame can take a flight from Jomsom to Pokhara and those who have enough time have options to continue to Ghorepani Poon hill finish at Birenthanti (Nayapul ). Between Jomsom and Ghorepani there are natural hot springs in Tatopani where tourists enjoy taking baths.

A trek to annapurna circuit use to take 3 weeks before but now due to the recent changes in Jomsom side this three weeks trek can be done within 17 to 18 days. Annapurna circuit completely around the famed Annapurna massif offers the fascinating ethnic groups, incredible views of many of the Himalayas' most famous high peaks, crystal clear lakes, turbulent rivers with deep gorge, hot springs and constantly changing panoramas from lush tropical rice paddies and moss - laden rhododendron forests to Tibetan fortresses clinging to rocky cliffs.

Itinerary List

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu

Day 2 Kathmandu to Besi-Sahar (175 km/ 7-8 hours): Drive by bus/car.

Day 3 Besi-Sahar to Bahundanda (1250 m.): Trek.

Day 4 Bahundanda to Chamje: Trek.

Day 5 Chamje to Dharapani (1890 m.): Trek.

Day 6 Dharapani to Chame (2715m.): Trek.

Day 7 Chame to Pisang (3185m.): Trek.

Day 8 Pisang to Manang (3350m.): Trek.

Day 9 Manang (Acclimatization Day in Manang): Rest.

Day 10 Manang to Yak Kharka: Trek.

Day 11 Yak Kharka to Thorung Phedi/ High Camp: Trek.

Day 12 Thorung Phedi/High Camp to Muktinath (3800m.): Trek.

Day 13 Muktinath to Kagbeni: Trek.

Day 14 Kagbeni to Marpha (2670m.): Trek.

Day 15 Marpha to Ghasa (2015m.): Trek.

Day 16 Ghasa to Tatopani (1190m.): Trek.

Day 17 Tatopani (Natural hot spring): Rest.

Day 18 Tatopani to Shikha (1920m.): Trek.

Day 19 Shikha to Ghorepani (2855m.): Trek.

Day 20 Ghorepani to Poonhill (3210m.) to Tadapani: Trek.

Day 21 Tadapani to Ghandruk (1950m.): Trek.

Day 22 Ghandruk to Pokhara via Birethanti: Trek, drive for one hour.

Day 23 Pokhara to Kathmandu (200 km/ 6-7 hours): Drive by bus/car or fly
