Reply #1Farmer from Gubat, Sorsogon Philippines | Religion is separate from the state. Religion should focus on the spiritual values of the people. The religious advocates' mission is to let people know and accept God as the creator and savior. Any Any religious activities should not be connected in any issues in the state or in the government. |
Michigan is a great place to be when you want to unwind and have something for yourself. I have been there once and I really like the place. Many people would love to be in that area when they have time, go with there friends have have some fresh air to breath. I really want to know more about that area. Many people would love to be in that area as soon as possible.
We may manifest a variety of beliefs toward religion but we can't deny the fact that we just came from a single creator. We are brother and sisters. But I respect every belief of people as well as the religion they live in. We should just bear in mind that we are all humans that deserve respect and love. Religion should remain a good way to motivate us in doing good things to other people.
it is okay to exempt the church from tax because in the first place they are not commercial establishments, second they do not have a steady income or do they have in come? their existence is based on the donations and love gifts of the members of the congregation. but the question here on tax exemption is: what sects or religious organizations can the state tolerate to exempt on government taxes?
the separation of church is state is a big issue, one that every country has to face as some point or another. I'm for complete separation, because I don't believe that a church should have any political power or any political obligations. On the other hand, remember what Jesus Himself said, "Render unto Casear the things that are Caesars." when referring to paying taxes. the church benefits from the protection and amenities of the state as much as any other citizen.
