| Little India – the heart of Indian Community  It was really like walking along the busy streets of Mumbai or Chennai. In Little India (Singapore), I was amazed not to find any significant difference between the lifestyle in India and Singapore. Shopkeepers are selling Indian spices, textile and cuisines. Beautiful Hindu temples can be seen throughout the community, and even the dance and music programs are based on Indian bollywood themes. In fact, you would feel at home away from home. |
