Amidst the beautiful hills…on the road less travelled by, is this hideout where innocence mirrors the tranquillity of the place and life flourish in the shadow of unblemished nature. It’s a great place for a quality vacation. Wildflower Retreat is a resort created in garden setting in a Sikkimese village that offers excellent view of the Himalayas and snow peaks besides a colourful valley in the front. Chalets with Double Bed, attached bath and a covered sit-out are independent units. Wildflower Retreat at Borong village is 135 Kilometres from nearest Airport [Bagdogra] or nearest Train Station New Jalpaiguri [NJP] in the Bengal foothills. Famous Sikkim monasteries, nature spots, wildlife sanctuary and trekking circuits border the Retreat for adventure engagements.

It's quite cold there mate. How could you do your retreat and soul searching if you freezing
Reply #2 Hesus (63.176.159.220) -
Just make sure to dress warm if it is that beautiful there I'm sure some people get past the cold.

Now what is this concept? The Himalayas, whether its far or near it, it would still be freezing there. Well, maybe that is the idea. Maybe they offer spas, saunas and hot springs there but believe me once you get off that warm bath you''ll be sorry.

Give the fellow a break, maybe there are spots in the Himalayas where cold is not an issue. Look at her statement on "Amidst the beautiful hills", she didn't refer to it as the "freezing hills", so it probably means a part of the Himalayas where the temperature is not freezing. Hope she can provide a link to the website promoting the vacation spot she is promoting to prove this theory of mine.

If only you have provided a link or their official website, maybe it will help with the promotion your doing for them.

Fosswort is right, you should have at least provided a link to the holiday resort you are promoting so we can have a personal look over it. The Himalayas are is sure cold and no one in the right state of mind will spend their rest and relaxation there, unless their Eskimos perhaps.

The reason for the Himalayas being so cold is because the Abominable Snowman lives there! If it was warm, he would have to go pack his bags and go elsewhere!

Here, guys. This is the web page for that retreat center. It certainly IS gorgeous. Cheers!

If it is freezing, then you will find good ways to keep and contiue soul searching..where in the Himalayas would you not expect to be cold? Hills are particularly thought to have really cool temperatures. There is mo to soul searching in the place, I am certain...spas, sauna, hot springs wouls serve to temporarily chase the cold away. Website's good but not really exhaustive. Cheers

A place or retreat located on the Himalayas doesn't necessarily mean that it is chilling in there. Believe me, there are some non-icy regions in the Himalayan area and if there is, would you think some businessman would be crazy enough to even put on a business there that is out of its league? Oh come on people, act like grown ups, and what is this I am reading about abominable snowman. Yeah, if you're like seven you will believe in those such things, but we grown ups know best.

Wild flower retreats aren't really my thing, but like many things in life, it could simply take a bit of getting used to.

What are some of the flowers that would be of interest in such a retreat when in India?

The types of flowers that can be found in India will certainly surprise just about anybody that is not familiar with it all.
