| Highland Park Illinois Community Safety Day, May 2001 Community Safety day was created by Highland Park Council member Marilyn Weinger in 1998. This was the third annual event held at the Highland Park Country Club. Highlights included Child ID by Kids Are 1st, a car seat safety check, landing of the flight for life helicopter, demonstrations by the Highland Park Police including a wonderful K-9 show. The Highland Park fire department also put on numerous live demonstrations. |
