| YouTube: Compost Pilot Initiative at Georgia Southern University During the Spring 2009 semester, Georgia Southern University is composting dining hall food waste in a collaborative pilot program. The exploratory project is led by a graduate student from the Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health and grant funded through a sustainability incentive grant awarded through the Office of Sustainability in the College of Science and Technology. Pending results of the pilot program, Georgia Southern University may elect to begin composting on a permanent basis in the future. |
