Travel in AmazoniaMy friends and collegues from our community college are planning a trip to the Amazon this coming year and would like some advise on how to get there and where to enter the rain forest.We are all biology teachers and each one has his specialty. We have the frog person, and the butterfly person, and the insect person. But we are goiing to work together to take back specimens of each specialty. We plan to enter via the state of Amazonia, the city of Manaus, to be exact. We will be there for week to gather information and look for a guide who will lead is into the rain forest. We plan to be there at least three weeks or more. Any suggestions, comments, anything to help in this enterprise? Will appreciate, Cheers! |
