| Watch out!Why "watch out?", well Bhutan is very high up into the mountains and, apart from flying into the airport of the capital city of Thimpu, the rest is by land.If you risk travelling by bus up the Himalayas, you had better take a camera with you because of the gorgeous scenery you will find. Also you will be able to see the thousand foot drop just by the wheel of the bus in its climb up the peaks. It will send the adrenaline pumping through your veins and you will be very happy when you arrive. The rest is trekking up the paths to the various temples and "stupas" that adorn the countryside. So you won´t miss any other means of transportation. Cheers! |
