I am traveling to Belize (Southern) to determine if its somwhere I would like to live part-time. I am into fishing and would like to fishe there for a few years. I would like to know of any local people I could hire to fish with, not a guide , just someone to fish with even for a price. Just want to get the local flavor. Any advice that you may want to share is most welcome.

Belize is such a great place for things such as fishing and so on. I really have not a single doubt in my mind that a person would find it to be much fun, and the excitement, concerning the hobby, just as soon as it is that one were to enter the country.
