| YouTube: Atwell searches for Headless Brakeman at Gurdon RR me, Joan telling TRUE story what happened to us at the railroad track in Gurdon, Arkansas close to Crossett. Headless man, GHOST, looking for his head while swinging a lantern? Local folklore says so. Old historians say this is the ghost of William McClain who really did die at this very place in a killing or accident many years ago.. I just know this: It scared the living FIRE out of me and I never wanted to go back until now. Forty years have passed, my newspaper article stirred up some interest locally after the Unsolved Mysteries story plus others on TV. A book was written including this happening at Gurdon in the top 41 scariest stories in the world. Now quite a bit is on internet about what is called an unsolved mystery.. Dad Gum it..I might go back but I won't have Bonnie with me this time. Bonnie Jean was Bonnie Bennett from Spearsville and she married Little Roy Lewis of The Lewis Family from Georgia.
