Brake checking incident reported? While driving my daughter to an appointment I somehow became involved with a raging maniac. I drive a full size truck and consider myself to be a courteous driver; move over to allow passing, do speed limit, etc. This guy was so close to me I could not see him in any of my mirrors. After we exited the construction area, speed limit 25mph, he cut off the car in the curb lane, passed me, cut in sharply and hit his brakes in the middle of an intersection. I backed off as I could not change lanes and he slowed and hit his brakes. The traffic traveling with me also stayed back while he played his game; hitting the brakes, slowing with me, cursing and flipping me off. I called 911 with our location, his plate number and a description of the vehicle. He saw we were on the phone, swerved into the other lane forcing the driver to the curb and fled into a small community. My question is this. Although I know he cannot be cited because no officer was present do they pay him a 'visit'? Thanks for your answers. There's no welcome like an Arizona welcome!!

Is this is a new tourism promotion for Arizona? The wild west of 2010 road rage! I love it. Let's start wearing helmets when we drive! |
Yeah, but was it legal for you to be on the phone while you were driving ? That is illegal in a lot of countries ... is Arizona a country ? You were very brave through this incident, but I do think it should be reported. Did you get a licence plate at all that you can use to report him ?
I am in need for some good tips and suggestion as to the travel destinations in Arizona. I am to go there soon for a short vacation and also to meet some of my good old friends that are already working in there. I do hope that you could all share here some good tips as to where are the must see and the must do in there. Thanks a lot.
Hi there. I think that this should be reported. There are really drivers who are like teasing other drivers. If you are not cool about it or if you are not patient enough with them, you might end up running after them and kill them all the way. I think they should be taught with lessons that they need to learn while on the road. By the way Judy, just in case you don't know, Arizona is a state in the US.
Well, it is really important that as a driver you know that different precautions in driving your car or any vehicles. You should be responsible enough when you personally drive your car. We can’t avoid sometimes other drivers who seem so irritating us on the road. But, if you think you are on the right way, just keep going. As far as I know, there are certain traffic rules a driver needs to follow in Arizona.
